Community Voices is WINS Canada's community-based research initiative.
Our research does not seek to speak for communities. It seeks to listen to them, understand their experiences and bring their perspectives into broader conversations with employers, community organizations, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders.
Through Community Voices, WINS Canada explores the experiences, perspectives, challenges and opportunities of people and communities across Canada, with particular attention to those who experience systemic barriers to inclusion, participation and economic opportunity.
The insights we gather inform dialogue, research, knowledge-sharing and future initiatives that contribute to more inclusive and equitable workplaces and communities.
2025-2026
Introducing our new ongoing survey: With higher living costs and unstable work conditions, many communities are feeling increased pressure. Through Community Voices, WINS is learning how these challenges are impacting people’s lives.
2024-2025
This report examines persistent economic disparities in Canada, highlighting the financial, employment, and mental health challenges faced by marginalized communities while offering evidence-based recommendations for more inclusive policies.
